944 GT3 Front Bumper
I am considering upgrading the front bumper on my 1983 944 to a 944 GT3 Turbo front bumper. I have heard about this upgrade, but I have yet to see it. Has anyone else upgraded to this bumper? if so, would you mind posting a picture? Also, will this bumper fit my 1983?

Are you referring to the Kokeln unit?
For a street car, you'll run into a few problems. It does not come with spots for the sidelights or foglights. You also need to run a Turbo header panel, headlight panels, and Turbo 'hidden' impact-bumper (mounts behind the airdam). I believe it's also contoured for the widebody flares, you may need to finagle it a bit to fit your NA flares. You'll also need to use either Turbo fenders or cut the appropriate notch in your NA ones. Happy Thanksgiving! |
