antenna removal help
What is the trick to get the nut on the top of the antenna to bust loose? I have an 83 with an original automatic antenna that doesn't go up and down all the time. I want to disassemble and investigate. I have soaked in pb blaster with no luck. Thanks.

i don't think there's a trick to it bu tover time corrosion can weld the pieces together - try getting a socket on it and holding what you can underneath - be careful as the piece underneath can turn a push out a dent from the back side
