Exhaust valve sizes
Are the sodium filled valves of the 944 turbo a direct fit to a NA head?
While you can swap heads between the turbo and NA, can you also swap components? Differences like, valve seat width (2.0 vs 2.5) and valve guide length, make my a bit nervous, but they are both 40mm... I am asking because the valves are the same price at the local parts store. So why not get the sodium filled ones if they fit. (while I should play it safe and get the right valves, my current ones have some slight heat warping... maybe some eutectic salts would have prevented that)

I uploaded a video of one of the valves I removed.

I've used turbo valves in N/A heads, so should fit.

Supposedly the heads are exactly the same, other than the ceramic liners in the exhaust ports and the sodium filled exhaust valves.

As stated above, there are some very slight differences between the heads..... but I did get a turbo exhaust valve, and it does fit! I will order 3 more on Monday.
