Need ideas on how to paint new hood??

I just picked up a 931 hood and nose panel, I need some ideas how to finish off the scoop paint scheme do I paint it all the same color or do I paint the scoop black??? Any ideas will help me out a lot!!

Here's a pitcher of the car I was able to get the two pieces off of

And a pitcher of my car fresh out of the paint booth

Same color. Black scoop wouldn't look right on a gold car, IMO.

Ernie9944, yes I have already shaved both the rear and front bumpers. I can't wait to get the new parts painted and the car back to one piece again. I think every one is right i I'm going to paint it all one color, I guess I was not sure of my self. Only want to paint the hood once, since the original hood was all ready painted.

You certainly CAN paint the 931 duct. In fact, the car you posted has a black duct on it! More pictures here. His is a decal, but still could be painted in the same way easily.

I know it can be paint (not that stupid yet) what I meant is that usually peoples don't bother with it & leave the same as the hood color.Sorry if I misinform some of you.

May I suggest you go with clear lens driving/ fogs ligths, there is two way to do it.Hard way like I did on my ex 944 by installing (Bosche Pilote Ligths) or the easy way with some clear lens for the oem (I call them candles) that you actually have on the car. Bosche PiloteAcrylic clear lens.

I have clear lenses in the garage. Still haven't figured out to install them short of smashing the old ones into pieces lol

You're having issues with getting the old lenses off, Gawernator? Tried heating the contact point with a heat gun (where housing meets lense) and slowly prying at them with a putty knife or similar object?
