Oops!

Better check that the rotor shaft has both screws in and they are tight. Yes there are two.

One that holds the rotor to it's short adaptor shaft and one that holds the adaptor shaft and rotor to the cam shaft.

Hopefully you still have the round plastic shield behind your rotor as this stops most moisture from coming in from the belt galley.

The second screw is behind this cover. I've seen where the cover has been slit from the center to the edge and twisted onto the rotor shaft.

ohm out the throttle switches and you'll find that they're probably bad motronic sees that first to give you timing advance, 95%of all 944s on the road have an oil soaked never gonna do its job throttle switch you'll also notice more response at W.O.T.

Yep lost the first bolt . got it all back and it runs like a champ.
