The alternator cooling pipe fits inside the engine bay on the chassis rail (see first photo) then it loops around under the chassis rail and up into the wing (see photo two. It just clips in place (two or three clips I think). The flexy pipe just clips on between the end of the cooling pipe and the alternator inlet.
   Good luck, it was easy for me, the engine was out!
