Front Tow Hook

Does the 85.5 NA accept a front tow hook like the Turbo does? Or do I have to drill my bumper or frame? Any one done this, pics, instructions?
thanks

Depends on the bumper. I have seen a EURO version have one once. I have been looking for a receptacle as I have the same model/year etc. I would be interested to know.

There is no provision receptable for a tow hook on a 944 NA only on the 951/S2/968,So you'll have to rigg your own.:Dhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1361188720.jpg

The front bumper is only about 1/4" thick, not enough to thread in directly. You could probably do something on the cheap with a few fender washers and a nut on the backside, just gotta be sure to distribute the load over a wide area.

Duck---where was it located on your NA (in the middle?) & is the receptable made of s/s or aluminum.Seem it will be easy to fab one nothing complicated there.:D
