Early 944 rial wheels fitment failure

Bought a set of rial wheels .
J7x16h2 e23 n7016523
They fit on rear no problem with factory spacers installed , but front will not fit hub seem to be to long?
Maybe spacers or modify wheels?
Any help appreciated

What do you mean by "the hub seems to be too long"? Do the wheels fit the hub but stick too far out the fender?

I had some Rials and iirc they came staggered for our cars 7x16 ET23 front 8x16 ET11 rear. They fit an early car without any spacers.

All I can think off is you have two pairs of front wheels and not a set for a 944, they made them for 911 fitment also, maybe you have a mixed set. That offset should fit the front though. Can you post a picture with them fitted to the front for clarification?

the wheel rests against the dust cap for the bearing.
And yea I believe the are 2 front wheels made for early 911. The center hub on my porsche comes out just about an inch where I guess 911 had a shallow hub?
I'm trying to figure out how to post pics now

You will have to machine the inner hub diameter at the wheels to fit over the 944 front hub bearing carrier. ET23 will then fit at the front without spacers.

ET23 at the rear required a 1in spacer to fit which I think you already have on your car.

If I was you I'd have all four machined to fit the front so that you can rotate the wheels in the future.
