new german mounts omg

I finished up installing my new German made hydraulic motor mounts and fired it up. WOW was I surprised, now I have a new 944, the tires I put on a little bit ago it not only handles great but no more engine vibration either.

where'd you get them and what do they cost? Are they for early models only?

Wish I could sit in your car because I want a good reference point for what a "new" 944 feels like... the copper plugs made another big difference and idle feels nice and smooth.

Gaw it is almost as smooth as my 07 fusion alost. Before the change things vibrated in my car. These mounts are german made after market and hydraulic I think that is the secret?

Where'd you get them at? How much were they? I have easy access to my engine mounts right now and they look like they're in pretty bad shape...

Hmm... my motor mounts were supposedly replaced in 2011 with what I assume is OEM.. they were $100 each according to invoice... unless it was actually $50 each..... lost the ****ing invoice with $1,700 worth of parts lol. My idle is now really smooth after all my work, but with the A/C on there's some shaking.. at times

I am truly surprised that Lindsey would sell HAMBURG TECHNIC Engine Mounts. If you are lucky you will get a little over a year use and have to change again. The only thing Made in Germany is the box they come in if that even. The only true Hydralic Engine Mount is the one sold by Porsche. Rhein was selling engine mounts, but hard to find. They were the Porsche mounts with the diamond and fox with part number ground off.

I got them from ********** out of miami. $109.00 each. They also have the Porsche mounts for twice. The man told me these were a very good seller and no complaints yet. They are made in Germany. I got almost 2 years on my china mounts so these should last along time, even when I put the china mounts on it wasn't this smooth.
