shocks
whats the best way to check my front shocks,sometimes i feel some bumps and i get a shimmy in the steering wheel and other times i don't....

Replace the front shocks. Check the a-arm bushings and replace as necessary. Check for torn boots on tie rods and ball joints. Get a front alignment. Drive for awhile. See if shimmy or spring "boing" type noises persist. If so repost a message.
