Parts Recycling

Since I'm doing a swap I have lots of parts that aren't being used. I have no idea if these parts work but, despite my hardened dead soul for pulling the old engine out, I can't bring myself to throw them away if they can be used.

Is there a place that can recycle/rebuild them? I'm also fine with giving them away but, at the same time i don't know if they work.

What do you do with unused/old parts?

Pretty much anything in the engine bay is useless and the block will probably get scrapped.
I have:
starter
clutch parts(that are already spoken for)
Engine internals- Early rods and crankshaft
alternator that I'm pretty sure is bad.
beautifully refinished intake manifold and fuel rail.

Post them in the classifieds super cheap with full disclosure? If you've got a rebuildable head I'll trade you a fender for it!

Janet,

See if there is a local auto electric repair shop; maybe you could have it rebuilt. As for the other items, especially if they're pretty shot, there may be a metal processing/recycling facility you could go to and scrap the parts.
