951 transmission pressure relief valve
hello,
my transmission oil cooler is leaking but only when oil is hot. Seal is new, everything seems fine. I got told that it could be the pressure relief valve... i got told it is on the very top of the transmission behind the mounting bracket... what does it look like... what do i need to do with it? transmission is on the car and i dont want to remove it for now... thanks for your advice.

Where is the leak coming from (top or bottom)? I'm wondering if the fluid was overfilled the last time it was serviced. If you pull out the fill plug and some runs out, I'd let it run out until it stops and then see if the problem persists.
