Seems nice. There are no interior pics. $5900 seems like a lot of money for that car, at least for me. Not too long ago I got a 87 with 131,000 miles in good shape for $4000. No matter what it will still need some maintenance, like timing belts. Looks nice just too much money, in my opinion. I do kind of like the color.

Interesting. Color looks identical to mine, but mine's Maraschino Red Metallic.

Two tops? Almost 30 years old and only 49k miles? Hmmm. It either sat and fell into disrepair or was only used as a collector car. Very suspicious.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Any time I see an early car with supposed low mileage, I gotta snicker because in most cases, you can add a "1" or "2" in front of whatever mileage they claim.

If it really is a 49,000 mile car, I'd believe it only if they could document it well. Proof that it'd been sitting in a barn or in someone's collection or whatever.

And the car should look like a 49,000 mile car; you can tell.

But absent the right documentation and unless it looked awfully clean and new, I'd think maybe $3-4,000 would be a good price.

I think by two tops the seller means the original and sarasota glass top...im just assuming. If it has 49000 miles the interior should look like new with very little wear on the drivers seat. Also if it was garage kept the interior should have very little to no interior fade and the dash should have little to no cracks. I would say the car is worth a look and you can negotiate from there.

If he has the sarasota top, see if you can just buy that from him. I know a guy that just paid $800 for a perfect one.

I'm with every one else- with only 49K a Porsche will be like new all around.

I have a 85.5 with 027850 and it is like new inside and out - drive it once or twice a month to keep it that way...
