Kentucky belt party

I am closing in on a 951 purchase and one of the first things I am going to do is change the belts, WP and rollers; assuming there is no record of a recent change anyone in the louisville area?

I may be interested. I did this about a year and a half ago, so I don't need it, but would like to make some local contacts and may be able to make the trip from Lexington depending on timing. I have the tools loaned out right now, but can get them back pretty easily. I don't have the tension tool, but used the twist / water pump method and it worked great. My mechanic had the car in for another issue right after and confirmed my tension was good.

Mine is an 86 so I don't have experience with the auto tensioner. Before you buy, it would be advised to get a PPI from a shop that does a lot of 944 work. If nothing else, I am sure it would pay for itself in the negotiations.

Good Luck.

Michael
