Coilover Helper springs Necessary on a Street car?

I am in the process of selecting parts for setting up my Bilstein threaded Firehawks. Are using helper springs something that is necessary on a street car? I have read that if you jack up 1 side at a time - the sway bar puts enough pressure on everything to keep the spring in place deeming them unnecessary unless you have a lift - then they will unseat?

Here is the link of what I am thinking about.

Swift Coilover Helper Spring 2.8" Length 60mm ID 0.8 kgf/mm

This is just in the front and yes 2.25 inch equivalent. The rears don't have a spring and are telescopic.

The plates are these.

Swift Spring Thrust Sheets Kit 60mm 2.25"

I am using thrust sheets regardless to deal with any noise, any suggestions? I would rather not run the helper springs if I don't have to, although I am hesistant pending feedback.

Thanks,

James

P.S. Also looking for 2.25 inch spring hats that are to be used with the factory top mounts.

Especially on a street car you need the helper and the spacer, otherwise the first time you go over a bump with both wheels and unseat your spring you will know about it.

The helper basically lays flat until needed and the spacer positively locates the helper to the main spring so they just don't slide against each other. You need the 2.25in version of these:

9FF is right. I got the spacers from Eibach at Summit Racing and the hyperco helper springs at Paragon Products. Otherwise the spring and top mount will be loose with wheel drop. I also used the holes in the top mount to zip tie on both sides, not sure if that does anything but it made sense at the time

Thanks, that Sprint one comes with the spacer as well. I definitely don't want to have it come unseated.

What a minute, I just read on here that the stock Bilstein perch will accept both 2.25 and 2.5 diameter springs. Is this correct??? So much easier for me to use the 2.50 inch ones.
