Rough idle
I just replace my header gaskets and did some other work and now the engine idles rough (around 800 RPM) and when I push on the accelerator it goes down in RPM (like it is about to die) and then back up again. Any ideas what could cause this? Could be totally unrelated to the headers. I also was attempting to remove my AC but decided against it so maybe something got screwed up in that process.
I'm supposed to track it Sunday so any help would be great! Thanks

Could be a vacuum problem. Did you disconnect any of the large vacuum lines or air hoses under the intake like to the idle control valve?

Yeah, I think I did. One was the vacuum reservoir broke and another was a plug I pulled out down under the air filter box when I removed it. How do you fix that?
Thanks

I'm thinking vacuum as well. Sucks especially after that hard job, but maybe the gasket(s) weren't perfectly aligned when installed, or a line now has a tear in it from being moved around when you were digging into it.

It's not that terrible. Get a copy of the vacuum line routing diagram from Clarks Garage and go from there. You mentioned a broken plug near the air box. Can you be more specific about this fitting and it's precise location? I may have an extra one.

Guys, thanks for the help. You all pointed me in the right direction. It turned out to be simply a disconnected thin hose by the intake manifold that must have slipped off while I was working around there. Problem solved
