Can't keep an alignment... I'm thinking control arm bushings? Mine look pretty bad. |
|
Last year, my factory original caster blocks and front control arm bushings were ugly. Even after alignment, the 944's legendary steering accuracy was non-existent. So, I lucked out and found sealed, factory 951 rubber caster blocks and the Weltmeister bushings all around up front. Also have changed: - all 4 wheel bearings, - all 4 shocks/struts - and ensured a solid ball joint pivot. Sears completed a full re-alignment and WOW. Still need to re-rubber the rear end.. ( Doh!) |

Put it up on jack stands and start wiggling stuff and you oughta be able to figure out what needs to be replaced. |

Lol SEARS did it? Lucky you.... they're so dumb here |

How many bushings are needed for each control arm? |

I called 888-280-7799 and the splendid folks at Pelican parts hooked me up. Urethane front bushings, rubber caster blocks and rubber sway bar bushings. |
