Recovering early dash
Anyone have any luck recovering their dash for less than a few hundred $$?
I saw a tutorial, but it was for a late dash. Just wondering if it was an easy DIY thing if you could find a material you wanted (i.e. some vinyl in the right color) ![]() |

Justdashes.com or something like that, watch the video on how they vac mold it onto the dash..looks cool, not sure the pricing..I'm gonna send mine in in the next couple of months..by the way, if you want a brand new brown dash there is a guy here in phoenix craigslist selling one new in the genuine Porsche box, I went and looked at it it's beautiful..around $525..it's been a couple weeks now maybe make an offer ..I found there really is no cheap way of recovering the dash..classic 9 has a leather kit but it's about $400 and then to have it put on would be tough..$$

![]() Thanks though. I'll probably settle for a plastic overlay and just suck it up... |

I had mine recovered by a local upholstery shop in vinyl for relatively cheap money.
