Too much negative camber
Front passenger side tire has around -2.6 degrees camber right now IIRC. Tech tells me that's with it maxed out as low as he can get it. Toe is set correctly front and rear (rear was a pain to get into specs for some reason) When I drove in I think I had around -4.4 degrees on that front tire. Nothing is visibly bent. Comparing to the other side I can't see anything wrong. Tire is not bent. So, what gave? I'm guessing spindle or control arm? Wheel bearings are nice, I just repacked them and all. No play at all from tie rods (brand new) or ball joint or wheel bearings. Just a lot of negative camber. I think I have photos if some 944 guru's can actually see such small changes by eyeballing

Sounds like the strut tower inside the fender may have moved. A frame shop could check that out for sure.

Okay, cool. I have a strut tower brace so if I'm not wrong, one tower moving would affect the other as well, or they'd at least be braced together resisting that movement. Not sure. Other side is golden. Visually the strut towers up top look the same, anybody know a good NorCal frame shop? haha

A bent lower ball joint can cause the problem. A bent ball joint is hard to detect without separating it from the control arm. Worn out control arm bushings can also cause a camber problem. You should be able to check the bushings with the control arm on the car.
If bad the aluminum control arm will need replacing. Clifton |

Not the bushings since this is impact related haha. Guess I'll need to see a frame shop
