Hints on replacing hood release cable
 

Is there a hint (or 2 or 3) for replacing the hood release cable? I'm not sure there's anything wrong with it, but I bought a new one along with the release handle mechanism after it shattered.

Looks like I need to work it from both under and over the engine.

Any help would be appreciated.

It will make is easier if you can hook an Electrical Fish Wire to the end of the Hood Release and pull the old Hood Wire back thru into the Dash area. Any wire would do as long as it does not come loose while pulling. An extra person would help lifting up and over things the wire might get caught on.
