cv joint issue

I've had all 6 bolts shear off from the inner driver's side cv joint. Is it difficult to remove the receiver plate from the side of the transaxle to make it easier to drill out the broken ends? What toils will I need. Ant suggestions welcome.
Thanks

back in 10-10-2010, (your last post)

1987 924S transmission issues

Answer---
The transaxle drive hub is held in by a single hex bolt-torque is 25Nm (18 ft lb).
Remove the bolt and the hub comes out.

Get a new seal and some of Ideola's locking bolts-

All 6?! Wow. I wouldn't even bother drilling that flange/receiver. Just get a good used one. And new bolts, as His Lordship suggested ;>)

Yes! Perfect! I'll bring my favorite tools and some beer...

And a few hubs to drill?
