fuel tank details
was looking at the fuel tank - where the filler neck tube attaches to a port. I am wondering how exactly this port is installed. There appears to be a thin channel around the outside, and under/inside the tank there is a seam.
in particular, is there a sealant holding this in? this pic shows it, but there's some wrapping I put on the port, and dirt. however, the rubber seal thing is still there.
