Thanks very much, guys! I really do like it. I have a couple more to go, and have to paint the wing white and there is a logo set aside for that as well.
Yeah, I got to meet butters this morning! I wish he had his car there, but he just narrowly escaped a timing belt disaster and decided not to bring it. Cool guy, we plan to whip up an Arizona get togerther when he comes back around Christmas. I also have a lime green strip to go all the way around the bottom edge of the front end, to replicate that feature on the 1991 LeMans car (one had the green, one did not so they could be easily distinguished from each other on the track). I think it is faster now. Jeff

I have to admit, at first I thought it was a bit "over the top". But I have had nothing but positive reactions to it. Thanks again for the compliments.
Except 2 college kids at the circle K...I overheard one chuckle to the other and say, "POS" while looking at it. But they drove away in a grey 6 cylinder Mustang, so I discount their taste and knowledge of cars considerably.  Geezer, it will have Fikse FM10s someday. Someday... Jeff

The FM10's will look make it look a lot better, great choice! I really like the vinyl graphics.

Your car is over the top for the street, and that's the whole point
 . Your car is for the track. FM10s and the painted wing will finish it off. And FM10s are the bomb man, they look great on anything.

Almost done...painted the wing white today and just have the graphics for that when the paint is fully cured, and the green strip on the nose. And a couple more small ones (SACHS and Shell)
I think this really helps the flow with the front end, like French Toast said. Jeff

The real question is - is the Blaupunkt radio still in the vehicle? Looks like you have ten-speaker, so you probably have a radio? The wing has attachment at 8 points on the reinforced rear panel wth fender washers. I have the steel for a better backing plate. I also will be attaching struts to the rear bumper with spherical rod ends and bracing.
Ironically, I have no stereo at all anymore. Niether did the 962 , so its ok. The sound of gear whine and engine song is plenty! I am very happy at this point. Jeff

Black is a good color for phone dials. That way they don't stand out. I've never liked them. But then again, that's just me. Great looking theme car.
