solved rough warm idle
 

As some have had, a rough idle when motor is warm, I needed it to act up while I could look at it but it was so intermittent that it finally happened and I found the connector on the dme temp sensor. We have an old Audi v6 motor at work so I cut a connector off and wired it in to my 944. So far no more idle problems.
