To venturi delete or not delete. That is the question...
I'm about to clean up my vacuum hoses and by accident I ordered a Venturi Delete for my S. What is the benefit/drawback of doing a venturi delete?
What does the Venturi really do and do I need it? I'm also trying to keep the car as stock as possible... thanks |
I wasn't aware of any 944 except the turbo having a venturi. I know it cleans up a bunch of lines that aren't needed. Basically it help to eliminate possible failures down the road.

You will notice zero effect from deleting the Venturi on the S. No one even knows what it does.
Here's some of my threads from when I deleted mine 8 years ago. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-924-944-968-technical-forum/239492-help-944s-venturi-connection-x-post.html help - 944S venturi connection (x-post) - Rennlist Discussion Forums |

Weird. Oh well, got the venturi delete for the S from 944online so I'll see how that goes.

Theres no reason to have Porsches venturi system unless you like the jungle of what used to be rubber cracking and leaking when you touch it. I always make vaccuum systems as simple as possible when I can, definitely lose it!
