Need fuel pump 1989 944 2.7
Please help!
I have bought 3 on eBay and none fit. MUST HAVE 10mm orifice, not 12mm. OEM BOSCH 0 580 464 042 ALSO BOSCH 69483? Last edited by neikoh; 08-13-2013 at 07:11 PM.. Reason: Added OEM part number |

According to PET there's only 2 fuel pumps for 89.
944 608 102 6 for 944 944 608 102 4 for Turbo I have a spare pump from a running 87 S that is said to fit your according to PET and Pelican...

just checked my pump, 944 608 102 6 is 12mm for the big hole, and 10 for the other side...

What's the part number on the pumps you bought? The one from the parts car should fit yours though...
I'll be working on my car tomorrow so if you want to stop by you can. But I'm not an expert, just trying to figure these cars out :-) but I have old pump if you want to try that.

I'm no expert either, but I do know that the threaded orifice needs to be 10mm not 12mm.

The threaded orifice on 944 608 102 6 is 19mm. And I also have a spare used one of those.
