battery dying every day

Hey guys i have an 87 944 N/A and the battery keeps dying every day. I jump it and it works fine. I keep all the lights off always but i notice the clock is always on. Is there any other things that are always on and can you shut off the clock

Most car parts stores can perform a battery load test, just ask. Also, look at the battery water levels and only use distilled water if they're low.

You don't want to jump a 944. The DME Computer is very sensitive to that and you may be rebuilding it if you continue to jump the car.

Quit hitting the turn signal when you get out of the car.

Check the charge of the battery after a drive, then disconnect the battery (both sides + & -) the check it in the morning if it held the charge the battery is ok if not just pop it out and get another (take it with you), if it held the charge you have a draw.

The alarm system could be the culprit, too, assuming you have one. It caused the same issue in my wife's car. But, again, check the battery condition first.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

What's your current draw when parked?
You measure this with an ammeter in series with the battery (don't try to start the car when connected this way or you will blow the fuse of the meter).
If it's higher than ~ 60mA, start pulling fuses one at a time until you see the current drop. That will be your leaky circuit which will help you track it down.

Are your radiator fans staying on by any chance?

Nah. Just leave the other car off while jumping.
