968 clutch pedal slowly drops to floor again???

I had just finished replacing, for first time, in my short ownership, short # of miles still, ...going back in time... inserting a new master & slave clutch cylinders & new hose...not dealer parts..... Insert new fluid using a motive power brake bleeder tool. Clutch pedal pressure was full up & firm in short order. Then the fluid slowly started leaking onto floor - coming down the firewall somewhere near (can't see exactly) the brake booster & master clutch cylinder(MCC) area....so dang difficult to see that area once its all back together..... aaaaahhhhh.

It doesn't 'appear' to be leaking from hose connections. Of course I can only assume user error at this point but any chance the master clutch cylinder is leaking from any point besides at hose connection points? The fluid has dropped in the reservoir to the point of the blue hose connection going to the MCC & no further....dripping stopped too.

Can you tell I'm not looking forward to a do-over?

Thanks.

i've had one car through here that had the oddest problem. we had seen plenty of the high pressure hoses fail. they usually had a big bubble expanding in them, near where the rubber meets the hard line. very common problem. those hoses are only slated for an 8 year lifespan. most of them are original, and well past their life expectancy.

however, the aforementioned car got a new master, slave, and high pressure hose. we bled it and it felt great. the car would get around the block, and the pedal would go to the floor again. bled it again. same problem. it was making me crazy. then i happened to look at the blue hose. it was a bit frayed at the end. i pulled it off and looked at it, and it wasn't soft and supple. i cut off an inch and stuck it back on and bled it again. BINGO! as it turns out, there was a tiny leak there. very weird. we replaced that hose and the problem has not returned.

Flash, thanks. I will re-fill the reservoir and see if I can tell if that is it or not. I'm currently out of fluid. I thought I replaced that blue one with another 'new' blue one --- though the I recall the new blue one not looking 'new' when it arrived in the mail...like it had aged in the sun for a long time.

Thx.
