944t Engine Installation Question

Just finishing up with a rebuild of my engine. Last items to install on engine before it goes back in is wiring harness, intake, vacuum lines, etc.

I was wondering if I should install the engine back into the engine compartment before I hook up the wiring and the intake and vacuum lines? I have the harness completely out of the engine compartment at the moment.

1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, Sapphire Metallic. Nice restoration. I'm done spending $$$$ on this car. Ha,'ll never end!

I wouldn't. Getting to all the vacuum lines and electrical connectors once it's in the car is a serious PITA. Do everything you can while it's free-standing.
