door pulls Series 1 and later cars
Does anyone know if the door pulls are the same on the early and the late cars? I have an early car and bought black door pulls to swap out the brown ones and found out that they aren't the same. The angle of the bolt above the handle is different and the door pull doesn't sit correctly. Any ideas?

Well, perhaps to an extent you have answered your own question as you have already found out that they are not the same...
 The design was changed when the 85.5 series cars (oval dash) was released. The door cards are different, as are the door pulls. I am not sure if they are compatible in any way as even the shape of the pull surround is different. However, I would have expected that you could probably find a set of good black early pulls to replace your brown ones?
