Thank you! This is something I can do, right? what about the tab on the end? I think I have like a barrel end.

It's held onto the starter by 2 torx screws. You have to be very careful removing them to get it off. other than that its pretty simple.

Disconnect battery before you start fiddling with it or you'll see sparks. Not fun.
