Oh man...What now?

Fuel door drain tube
Hello...Washed the car today and noticed there was water standing in the fuel door. The drain was/is plugged. Pulled the rear carpet, ran a wire up from the bottom of the drain tube. Yup, blocked. Pulled the tube and 90 degree tube out and the 90 degree is rusted solid, and the tube is split. Damn Germans, selling cars that have parts problems after 28 years! I looked through my on-line parts for the 944 and this /these parts are not listed. Looked on PP parts and saw nothing. No problem with making the 90 degree out of copper tubing and new plastic tubing BUT the grommet like seal in the door prob. needs changed also. Can't make one of those. Any ideas? Part numbers? Thanks all, Fritz

Just did my drain pipes today. Decided to give the fuel door drain a little help (with sealing).

Just use standard tubing from the local auto parts store, and use a little permatex to assist and reuse the fuel door grommet/tube and lower drain grommet. The 90 degree tee fitting should also be reusable too.
