Anyone from Norther NJ area want a free body kit
Hi
My name is James I do fiberglass fabrication. I have been asked to make a new style body kit for a Porsche 944. Would anyone have a doner car I could use for a template? for the use I would give you the first body I make. my process would include attaching closed cel Styrofoam to your car and carving around it. to be followed by casting the foam in fiberglass. Will be of my own design and not the typical wide body fenders. will be much more radical a stripped out roller would work too im located in Mahwah NJ, would be best to be close to the northern Bergan area you can email me at fiberglassfabrication@hotmail.com Thanks James Last edited by Fiberglass Fab; 09-17-2013 at 05:59 PM.. +1. Interested to see the end result!
Keep in mind that if you are using a 944 Turbo or S2 model, there are a few slight differences in the body panels from a standard non-turbo 944.... such as the front "nose panel" leading edge is more curved on the Turbo/S2. And the front corners of the fenders have a different shape as well.

I have a 1987 944S that is a complete and running car. Just did the t-belt, etc. I am 250 miles north of you. If you don't find something let me know. Greg Hoffman may be able to help you as well he in is right in your backyard.
