Which Vacuum lines do I need?

I need to change the AOS seals and some of the rubber lines underneath the intake manifold look cracked.
I'm wondering the name of them/a link so I can replace them.

Also, totally unrelated, how do I change my signature line? lol

To change you signature line, click on USER CP at the top of this page.

I don't have the vacuum hoses committed to memory. There should be a hose diagram on the right of your inner fender under the hood. Hose routing is also in Clarks garage.

They are listed by name in the Pelican Parts Catalog, I.e. AOS Breather hose

Which rubber lines? the hoses? or the hard vacuum lines? I replaced mine with new hard lines, got them by the foot from 944online (I know a lot people here don't like 944online, but they're not bad, if you find what you want there), and I also replaced the rubber hoses and did a venturi delete.

Are these for your NA or S?

You def need some of these Y fittings: 928-573-727-02-M36
and some of the C elbows: 928-574-717-02-M5

I got these hardlines from 944online, i like to keep the car oem looking: 944online.com - Air / Fuel System Find Parts For Your Porsche 944 And Get Your Car Back On The Road.

But a lot of people swear by the larger silicone lines.

For your S here's the venturi delete and idle stabilizer hose to the manifold

On another note, I also like going to 944online to recognize parts by pictures, but wish they showed parts numbers too...

I'd check everywhere else for parts first though, 944online usually has ridiculously high prices.

Make sure you change the two ICV (idle control valve) lines.

I have not heard of this before, is there further explanation available regarding why this is better than the original design?

mhariush 09-25-2013 05:10 PM

the venturi function appears to be over engineering from Porsche. You can remove it and tidy up the very messy vacuum hoses under the hood. It has no effect on performance if you keep it or delete it. And apparently Porsche doesn't sell the venturi or the hoses anymore, just the delete kit...

I'd get the venturi delete (if this if for your S) and the vacuum hard lines from 944online (also as I didn't find them anywhere else). Not bad prices. The vacuum y and c joints i'd get from pelican, much cheaper.

Mike, if this is for the S, these are the ones you'd need

Venturi Delete
Idle control hose
