Best/Preferred way to advertise parts for sale?
I've got a bunch of parts for sale now, and I've wondering what the preferred way people want to look for them...
I know posting 50 ads will be a little bit annoying, but do you guys look at ad's that read "lots of parts" etc and look for what you need? Do you search for parts or do you just check the latest posts and see if the headline mentions the parts you want? Thanks.

I like local craigslist. But that's me. Shipping is a royal PITA.

What I like to see when the heading is "Lots of Parts".
For basic parts, Place them neatly on the garage floor, maybe 10 at a time. Put the part name/model application and price under each photo. We know what the parts look like. Price should be as reasonable as possible not including shipping. Shipping cost should be actual price with no packaging/handling fee--TBD (to be determined). Repeat 5Xs (if you have 50 parts FS) If you have expensive parts, you should do a photo of each and a very detailed description. Post on Pelican "Used Parts Classified" Link your post over on RL. If you are a RL paid member you can post on RL but most will be happy to just click your link. Update your post daily with "Sold" by the item. Many parts will not sell at all. Fill a USPS Priority Mail flat rate shipping box with more parts on top of the paid part. Up to the weight limit. Nuts, Bolts, bearings, wiper motors, ??? Accept PayPal and either add the PayPal fees to the item or have the buyer pay the fees. J_AZ

I like Ebay/Paypal best, then mentioning it to our forum(s) where we could have the best shot if something grabs your interest. Ebay: Best visibility, room to run sale specials, detailed information, more pictures and better communications. Better POS - Point of Sale and CRM - Customer Relational Management models that are very effective and resourceful. I have sold many parts both local and internationally. In Craig's List there is no way to filter your audience and pre-quallify any business transaction. You want to be efficient minimize your risk and besides i have seen many scams there... I don't have time for the BS... Been on doing business on Ebay since 2005. Even purchased equipment and items in excess of $1700 with excellent success... Sold vehicles and the likes. Setup an E-store with a shopping carts & etc. and get a Paypal Business account. Go for It! Later....

My biggest pet peeve with guys selling parts on here( or anywhere for that matter..) is not putting down where they are located.
