A friend needs new front seats in his 84 944
I have a very good set from my 77 911 Will the 911 seats fit/work in the 944? |

The rails are 16 1/2 inches wide center to center so measure your 911 seat rails. Holes can be drilled in the mount rails if they don't lineup front to back. Seat belt attach may be different on the 911's.

To the best of my knowledge they do fit but as mentioned above measuring them will answer that question quickly. The seat belt mounts dont matter as they are mounted to the chassis not the seat in both cases.

Seats are interchangable. Porsche used the same seats for both 911s and 944s.
There was a change in the mounting bolts, however- Some years had four bolts, others had six. I don't remember what years had what. |
