Drove just over 2,000 miles so far this year in my 944. Okay so you say that's all? Well last year I drove about 500 so yea it's a big deal. How many miles do you drive your 944 in a year?? I drive 80 miles 6 days a week but mostly in my buick.

I've had a couple years where I put on under 200 miles. This year I am closer to 3,000. Lots of short trips. In the 8 years or so I have owned the car, I have put on about 10k.

I'm working on it more than I'm driving it. Too many other projects. I'll be tearing into the interior next, now that the mechanical stuff is behind me.

Cool thread. I drive my 951 probably about 2000 miles/year. Drove 220 miles the other day though. It was a blast! I seriously have to restrain from driving long trips every single day. It's not my DD right now but that could change.

My goal when I bought my 86na 3 years ago was 6000 miles per year. With all the projects, it has not been close. Now my goal is 3000 miles without a major mechanical issue side lining it. I always seem to hit some issue around 1500 miles. Little things here and there but I will scream "boo yeah!" when I get no problems between an oil change. About 60 miles round trip to work. Drive it 3 times per week or about 200 miles a week. In a good year, I would get 10000 miles on her.

total day driver
Drove mine everyday to work about 16 miles round trip, Live in Denver so we have a few snow days. 924S is a real kick to drive in the snow if you use studded snow tires. I pity those who put their Porsche in the garage at the first snow flake, they miss a boat load of fun.

Daily driver. Normally put 12K miles per year. Not sure what the real mileage is. Odometer had stopped working before I bought the car. I've put over 50K. Idrive it all year long. Snow tires in the winter make for great fub inempty parking lots on the way home from work. My plan is to wear the car out.

I average about 12,000 miles a year between my two cars, favoring the NA because it's more economical.
I only drive my truck when it's really nasty out, or I have to haul something that won't fit in a 944 (which might be 1-2,000 miles a year).

I've had my 85.5 944 for about 17 months and only did around 1000 miles. With work and family i don't drive it as much as i should. a 6 mile round-trip commute doesn't help either

I've done about 55,000 in five and a half years on my 924S. Still going great! The past year I did about 15,000 without a single major service (just a few oil changes and random little stuff I did myself.)
