speed reference sensor voltage

i recently installed new speed and reference sensors in 1987 924s.no tach bounce.i am pretty sure the dme is good.the wiring harness/connectors to the speed and reference sensors are cracked and most likely the culprit.how much voltage should i be getting from which of the three female prongs of the wiring harness connectors to the speed and reference sensors?much thanks

You might see a bit of a voltage from the speed sensor if you have your meter set to read AC. The voltage will be ~ 2.5v
The signal from the reference sensor is too transient (a single pulse of a few milliseconds every revolution) to read without an oscilloscope.
Everything you might ever want to know about the motronic system in the 944's can be found on frwilke's website (the944 dot com); specifically, look at the motronic math page.
