1987 924s wiring harness plug??
can someone please tell me what this round plug (to the right)on the main wiring harness goes to? It is in the same cluster as the speed and reference sensors (the 3 together same length and place)

There's no photo, but I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the round plug with three pins (or thereabouts) and that's used for diagnostics. At least on the 944s.
