fuel filler gromet?
I am back on my 944, stripping it apart for paint, my wifes z28 is going to work as I need the lift so now my porsche is off the back burner. My question is, what is the procedure for removing the large rubber seal that goes around the fuel filler neck? This is the grommet that seals the neck to the body inside filler cap. I did not look into it too deep but looks like maybe its attached from inside? Thanx all thought a question would be a change from my latest posts.

it just slides on the filler pipe inside, no clamp etc. but it is hard to remove it without damaging anyway. just did it few days back.
