1987 924s timing belt to spray or not to spray?

i have removed the timing belt cover doing troubleshooting.i am cleaning everything i can in the process.should i spray anything on the timing belt to extend life?

What spray? Why not just change it wyit (while your in there). Is it new at all?

no spray of any kind on the TB in fact if they get oil or anti freeze or any kind of contamination it is recommended to change the TB. I have never ever heard of a spray for the TB. I know they make a spray to quiet drive belts but that stuff does not work and in fact ruins the belts.

agreed - no fluids on a timing belt.
belt juice won't extend anything but a mechanics wallet.

What issues are you troubleshooting? If you have a balance shaft, crank, or water pump leak you might consider replacing the belts since you'll likely remove them to fix the leak.
