Those things scream 80s. A mechanic friend of mine loves them. I personally don't care for them. I'll show him your post. He has picked up a few sets at the Hershey swap meet for cheap. Not in as good shape as these though. Last time, he bought a set for $400.

Tops 200. Beat, rashed, and ugly.
If they were RSs, much more $ since you could rebuild the lips. Even Porsche RSs do not carry the value as other bolt patterns though. |
Pillow thanks, what markings do the rs ones have? Learning for future reference

Good candidates for restoration but pretty beat, agreed on $200-$300

Here is a quick link to "redone" RSs. The BBS RSs are a three piece wheel which was a popular upgrade in the 80s. Now they are more of a show car piece. In stock form they really are not that nice compared to clean Fuchs IMO.
VWVortex.com - 17x9.5 BBS RS 5x114.3, Big Lips, 24kt gold bolts, Chrome Plated Hexs, Red centers As-is RSs for Porsche anywhere from 400-800 set. "Redone" varies dramatically as to what you put into them. 24ct bolts, low profile caps, etc... "Redone" RSs just do not seem that popular with the Porsche crowd. |
