Question on Throttle response cam

I know it dosn't provide any HP, but it seems my 86 944 na requires alot of pressure to apply the throttle. Is this normal? Would this Throttle response cam just provide easier response? Thanks for the imput.

Before you drop the money on that, make sure your throttle cable is good and tight and that your throttle body is adjusted properly.

The throttle response cam will actually increase the pedal pressure required to move the throttle at the low end. The cam would exacerbate your problem.

OK, Thanks much guys. I just thought it was too tight already?

Just curious, why don't they make one of those cams for the 944S?
