Primer for fiberglass?
My front air dam needs some touch up. Previous owner liked to get too close to curbs. Anyway since I can't afford to have it done professionally right now, I'm going to get a spray can as closely matched as I can to my white paint. Question is what kind of primer do I use to make sure it sticks to fiberglass? Thanks.

There is more to this than just primer. The problem is that regular rattle can primer can not flex with the fiberglass. You will only get a very short amount of time before it will all flake off. You need primer and paint that contains "flex additive."

Actually, the factory front air dam is urethane, not fiberglass, although what Scott said about needing paint with a flex agent still applies.

Thanks to both of you.
