951 Exhaust Problems
Hey guys - I have an '86 951 that has given me a ton of problems with the exhaust. The headers, the cross pipe and the exhaust after the cat have each cracked.
I have replaced the headers and the cat back, and welded everything else. Any thoughts on what is causing this? Thanks! |

I'm having similar problems. I was going down the 101 and punched it. That's when my exhaust broke off at the cat. Put cat and muffler in car and drove very loudly home. Midas seems to think I bottomed out, I say chitty weld.Just had cat replaced 3 weeks ago and it already broke. Took it back and they didn't want to fix it. I got in thier face and they agreed that they were wrong. we'll see how long this one lasts. I think it's vibration.
