Question Any waterbabies in the Marin County, CA area?

I wanted to know if there are people in the Marin area who live on this site. I have seen quite a few of us "superior" porsches in my area, and so I thought I'd check. I was wondering how the PCA is in my area...and I am thinking of joining. Any ideas how an 18 year old with an old 944 would be treated? I am actually the most intrested in getting my car on the track...whether it be cones or Sears Point, oh wait, Infineononin (crazy foreign names). Also I would like to meet some people around me who love their car like I. I think it would be nice to see 2 944's (or 944 syblings) in the same place. I met a guy at wednesday night drags who owned a 944, does this guy check this board? Anyways i just wanted to get more into the p-family and stop being the distant nephew. So if anyone wants to see what a dark grey 944 looks like, pull a maneuver.

Move to So-Cal, bro! So cal driver, Scottmandue, and I live here in the L.A.-O.C. area. We did a gathering a few weeks ago, unfortuanately, I had to leave in a hurry cuz I was late for work. So Cal driver is definately the brains of the operation. We're trying to get another day goin. So pack yer sh** and come on down, it was way cool having 2 '44 in the driveway and one on the curb, two on the curb would be a thing of beauty.

Actually, there is a high probability that, in the next few months, I will move to either San Deigo or Orange County (mission veijo) . That would be awsome to be a part of. Right now I am actually in San Deigo, but for fear that the antique wouldn't make the trip yet, I drove my Volvo. Some new wheel bearings all around will help this problem. That would be nice to know other 944 fans when I move down. Cars are my passion, hobby, and religion. So do you know of any tracks in these Lower parts of Ca, or how bout rods that look like tracks? Do you guys know anything about the PCA in Orange County/L.A.? Even if I don't move down to so. cal yet, I am gonna be drivin' down alot to visit friends/ relatives in the area...and hopefully i can bring the Porsche. I am sure it will appreciate Interstate 5 more than my Volvo. Anyways...thanks for the offer, I will have to take you up on it sometime!

kewl! I'm a member of the GPX area of Zone 8 pca, and so is Scott, I think. I know they have a breakfast on like the first sat. of the month. Haven't been yet, tho. They start to G.D. early. I think they should do a lunch, or afternoon snack or sumthin.

Porsche Crest

Todd, found out I'm a L.A. region but I can join as many regions as I want so I am going to sign up with GPX and see which I like best
I work Sat. so that puts me out of the breakfast meeting also.
Someone said their PCA has a beer night at a local pub so I am going to lobby for one of those for us folks who can't/won't make the breakfast meeting.

Belmont brewery anyone?
