What Compression Numbers for the Turbo?

What are the numbers for the turbo compression when it came out of the factory? What are some good numbers to have? Thanks a head of time.

If you go by the shop manual it's 10 bar or greater for a fresh engine (145 psi). However, I've compression checked a lot of 944 Turbos and I've never seen anything greater than 135 psi even on a fresh engine. However, on a fresh engine compression numbers will normally improve as the rings become fully seated. From my experience anything greater than 120 psi is acceptable.

The factory wear limit for compression is 6.5 bar (94.3 psi).

Regards,
Fletch
