'44 - '68 - Box

Is there anyone out there who's kept updating their motor?

What I mean is, from a 924 to a 944 to a 968 to a Boxster?

I'm thinking down the line to 'upgrading' to a Boxster but I've still got a bit of that 'womans' car syndrome - if you know what I mean.

It's strange that the '44 (at the time) was considered a 'womans' car in comparison to the 'mens' 911 but d'ya think we're still going through it today with the Boxter?

All this sort of went to pot though when I was sat outside a bar the other day. This early 40's guy with slick back hair and a pair of 'Ray-bans' came rollin by in a red Boxster S with the top down. Nice car I thought. Then 10 mins later a young girl in her early 20's came by, completley oblivious to the looks she was getting, in a brand spanking carrera 4 soft top..................the whole Porsche world turned upside-down!!!

I'm not impressed with a boxzster over my s2 cab

performance is great grant you that,

but top down comfort is ****eee

a lot less wind buffetting, you can listen to music and carry on a decent conversation at up to 100mph.

in a box, over 80 and its like a wind tunnel

68' cab's fine

my next wun is either

1> 944 turbo cab
2> 968 cab
3> 911 (964 shape) cab
4> Ferrari either 308 or 328

I'd like to go for a Ferrari 348

You can pick 'em up relativley cheap now - ('bout the same as a new Boxster)
but I may have to wait a few years yet!!!
