@ Qustion with regards to CV replacement
1-I recall that somebody was making locking bolts/studs for the CV joints/shafts, can't somebody point me to the supplier
2- I can't find the 8mm 12 point internal tool locally, preferred tool supplier? Thanks so much for the help |

The looking bolts are unnecessary if the bolts are installed properly. However Ideola's Garage sells the Stage 8 locking fasteners.
I think Pelican sells the triple square bit, if not I just search online for the place that has the most reasonable price and shipping.

You should be able to get the triple square at Auto zone or other stores.
I have bought a few sets at the first store I've gone to (when they were needed and forgotten, needed unexpectedly). |

The redline stuff is worth the money. It fixed my cold-trans hard shift into 2nd. Quieted things down, too. Shifting is way more slick.

If I was worried about this I'd use safety wire star washers and hex heads. Or tab washers. Or make some D shaped washers and bend the other side up to lock the hex head.

I put Redline into my 924 w/the dogleg box and it helped a lot.
However Redline didn't really help the 951's 016. When cold I can't shift into 1st, once it warms up it is fine. So I'm going to drain it and try some Swepco 201. If that doesn't work, then I know for certain the syncro's are shot on at least 1st gear and will continue with refreshing the S2 trans I picked up. Just food for thought.
