hood cable
took cable off hood latch in order to free it from left headlamp. re threaded thru latch and screw but will not work now. the hood handle release will not budge now don't know what is wrong?

is the hood open - if it is get a helper to pull the release while you watch the latch to see what's going on - you might have tightened the cable too much or it could be something out of alignment in the latch - if the hood is locked down you can actually reach up behind the radiator with a screwdriver and release it but it's not easy
